What papers do I need to provide for hassle-free China Family Visit Visa Application?
You required to submit physical copies with your application in a designated format and description given as below:
Passport
Your passport must have these details as it required according to Govt. norms
- Requires at least six months’ validity after the arrival date in China.
- Number of 2 pages of the passport should be blank (1 page for the visa, and 2nd page for the stamp)
- Pages which are reserved for “Observation” does not count in it.
Photocopy
The photocopies you need to attached with the application are given below: –
- Photocopy of your passport front page with photo
- Your last China visa approval letter photocopy
Invite Letter
Invitation letter (signed with pen not electronic) which include information about the applicant, including their below details:
- Date on letter, Full Name, DOB
- Address to Chinese Consulate Manchester
- Tour Itinerary & Flight Details
- Gender, Relationship with each other
- Details of Financier
- Information of inviting Party, Address, Contact Details
- Signed by the inviting party
- Proof of relationship. Original or Photocopy of either Marriage/Birth Certificate, or Notarized certification of kinship, showing the family relations between both parties.
- Original and photocopy of a valid UK residence permit.
- The S2 VISA is for stays of not more than 180 Days. and it is available to spouse, parents, sibling, children, grandchildren, grandparents, parents-in-law, and spouses of children of the inviting party.

NON-UK OR EU/EEA PASSPORT HOLDERS
Non-UK or EU/EEA passport holders must have a valid UK visa in their passport and should provide the original and a copy of their permanent residence or work permit which should be valid for at least half a year (except for those who are visa or permit exempt for residing or working in the UK).
